The Portland Trail Blazers will play five games in the upcoming preseason as they tune up for a highly-anticipated 2019-20 campaign with hopes to replicate and perhaps surpass last season’s run to the Western Conference Finals.

The Blazers will open the preseason against the Denver Nuggets on Tues., Oct. 8th at Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, which will mark the first time a preseason game has been played in the Coliseum since 2009.  The Coliseum was the Blazers home arena from 1970 to 1995 and was the site of their only NBA Championship on June 5th, 1977.

After hosting Denver, the Blazers will host Maccabi Haifa on Thurs., Oct. 10th and the Phoenix Suns on Sat. Oct. 12th before concluding the preseason with road games at the Utah Jazz (Oct. 16th) and Nuggets (Oct. 17th).
