Tom Brady Announces He is Leaving Patriots, Destination Uncertain

Early Tuesday morning, Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time, announced he is leaving the New England Patriots in free-agency.

Brady is reportedly going to sign with either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Los Angeles Chargers, both of whom are prepared to make offers north of $30 Million annually.

Brady made the announcement on his instagram page, saying:

As for Brady’s next step, the league’s legal tampering period is already underway, and free agency officially starts Wednesday at 1pm PST.

 

Brady has taken New England to nine Super Bowl appearances, winning six Super Bowls, in his 20 seasons with the Patriots.  He turns 43 years old in August, which will be his 21st season in the NFL.  He was the 199th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.
