NEW YORK, N.Y. – Following back-to-back productive seasons in 2017 and 2018, Oregon senior Jacob Breeland was named to the John Mackey Award watch list on Friday. The award is presented annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.

His strong sophomore season earned him All-Pac-12 honorable mention status from the league head coaches, while he was twice named to the Pro Football Focus Pac-12 Team of the Week.

During his career, Breeland has more catches as a Duck (48) than any other player on the current Oregon roster. He heads into the 2019 season with 820 career receiving yards and seven TDs.
