Per multiple reports, it appears Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins has suffered a torn ACL.

The injury was sustained during a workout in Las Vegas on Monday. He had to leave the court after what a source would describe as “bumping knees” with another player.

This isn’t the first time Cousins has sustained a major injury. He suffered an Achilles tendon tear while playing for the New Orleans Pelicans during the 2017-18 season, and a quadriceps injury caused him to miss several weeks with the Golden State Warriors last season.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania says that the four time NBA All-Star will undergo final tests that are expected to confirm the ACL diagnosis.
