Playing their first game after the horrific injury to center Jusuf Nurkic, the Blazers blew out the Bulls in Chicago 118-98. Portland jumped out to a 13 point first quarter lead, 18 point lead at the half, and then cruised to victory from there.

It was an overall team effort tonight as all 13 players who logged game action scored at least 2 points. Six players scored in double digits led by the 20 points from Seth Curry off the bench. Curry had filled in nicely for the injured Cj McCollum, averaging 18 points since his injury. Zach Collins and Enes Kanter were counted on to fill in for the injured Nurkic and after one game they had solid results. The two big men combined for 26 points and 9 rebounds.

With the win, Portland is a season high 20 games over .500 at 47-27, they sit alone in 3rd place just a half game ahead of the Houston Rockets. Up next, they continue this mini road trip with a match-up against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.
