The Oregon Ducks did not play this weekend, but they still moved up in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings announced on Tuesday.

With then-No. 4 Penn State’s loss to then-No. 17 Minnesota, the Ducks took a step closer to the Top Four and checked in at No. 6.

Fellow Pac-12 team, Utah, also moved up thanks to Penn State’s loss. The Utes are at No. 7.

Alabama’s loss to LSU was not enough to get Oregon to No. 5. The Crimson Tide dropped from No. 3 to No. 5, while the win pushed the Tigers to the top spot in the CFP Rankings.

After feeling disrespected at No. 5 last week, Clemson is now up to No. 3 with Georgia right behind at No. 4.

Up next for Oregon is a Saturday night battle in Eugene with Arizona on ESPN this weekend.
