The Mariners fell behind 2-0 in the first three innings, but they scored three in the final three innings to come out on top.

A pair of solo home runs gave Detroit that 2-0 lead. Two batters into the 7th, and Seattle was tied at 2-2.

Daniel Vogelbach doubled to lead off the inning, and then Tom Murphy blasted his 10th homer of the year.

The M’s made the 7th inning last, but they had to settle for the tie game.

Two innings later, down to their final strike, Mallex Smith came through with a single through the right side that brought Kyle Seager home.

Seattle’s walk-off win Friday is their third straight win and fourth win in five games.

Yusei Kikuchi will get a no decision, but the Mariners starter earned a quality start. Kikuchi’s final line: 6.2 IP, 7 hits, 2 ER, 4 K, 0 BB.

Winning Pitcher, (3-2) Roenis Elías: 1.0 IP, 0 ER, 1 K, 0 BB
