Another Blazer debut made for another Blazer win. Rodney Hood debuted with 14 points against San Antonio on Feb. 7 where Portland won 127-118. Tonight against Brooklyn, Enes Kanter dropped 18 points and nine rebounds in the 113-99 Portland victory.

Not to be outdone by the new guy, Jusuf Nurkic showed out. The Bosnian Beast finished with a game-high 27 points–on 10-of-15 shooting–and 12 rebounds.

C.J. McCollum carried the load in backcourt scoring with 21 points. However, Damian Lillard filled in nearly every category. Logo Lillard gathered 13 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and just one turnover.

Portland saw their starting forwards step up as well. Al-Farouq Aminu collected his eighth double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. Moe Harkless also stuffed the box score with 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a steal.

With game one of the seven game road trip complete, the Blazers head to Philadelphia. Portland battles the 76ers on Saturday with a 10 a.m. tip.
