K.J. Wright wasn’t a free agent very long. The former 2014 fourth round pick is staying in Seattle, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Wright only played in five games last season. However, in his first four seasons, Wright finished in the NFL’s top 20 for total tackles.

For the Seahawks, keeping the linebacking corps, Bobby Wagner and Wright, together was very important, especially with the loss of safety Earl Thomas.

Thomas left Seattle to sign with Baltimore on Wednesday.
