For the fifth time in Men’s and the second time in Women’s college basketball, the AP No. 1 team lost.

The Oregon men jumped two spots from No. 8 to No. 6 after beating Montana (81-48) and Texas Southern (84-78) last week. Maryland, now No. 13, and Kentucky, now No. 19, dropped six and 13 spots, respectively.

Both No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Oregon State’s women each moved up one spot after No. 1 Stanford lost to Texas on Sunday 69-64. UConn took over the No. 1 spot.

Oregon’s women thumped UC Riverside (84-41) and Kansas State (89-51) last week. Sabrina Ionescu recorded triple doubles in both games.

As for Oregon State, they blew out Northern Arizona (91-57) and BYU (65-34).
