Oregon Ducks freshman Miles Norris has decided to transfer.

Norris played in 27 games for the Ducks this season and averaged 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in 10.5 minutes per game. He had 14 points in a career-high 24 minutes in the Pac-12 Tournament against Washington State.

Norris sat out the team’s first eight games because Oregon’s coaching staff hoped to redshirt him. Norris elected to bet on himself and play however, despite being told that his minutes may be limited throughout the season.

Norris can still decide to return to Oregon for his sophomore season, but now that he’s been placed in the NCAA Transfer Portal, his scholarship is no longer guaranteed. Last week Victor Bailey elected to transfer
