Dan Patrick Poll Question of the Week: Is Urban Meyer a good choice for head coach of the Dallas Cowboys?

Dan and the Danettes have been enjoying some holiday vacation, but a consistent topic in their absence has been the future of the Dallas Cowboys head coach position.

After weeks of debating if Jason Garrett will stay or go, recent reports say the Cowboys are expected to move on from Garrett when his contract officially expires next week.

That means the Cowboys will dip their toe in the water of a full-fledged coaching search for the first time since Bill Parcells retired after the 2006 season.

Former Ohio State coach and current FOX SPORTS analyst Urban Meyer is rumored to be a candidate for the Cowboys job, but many are conflicted on whether or not he’d fit in well with Dallas.  After all, owner/general manager Jerry Jones is not likely to relinquish full authority of the team’s personnel and strategy any time soon.

So we ask you!  Do you think Urban Meyer is a good candidate to replace Jason Garrett as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys?  Vote below!
