Damian Lillard on McCollum’s Podcast: Paul George a “Poor Sport”

Damian Lillard was all business on the court during the Trail Blazers’ 4-1 domination over the Oklahoma City Thunder. But after his epic 37-foot series winner over Paul George, he had no problem responding to Paul George calling it “a poor shot.”

Lillard appeared on CJ McCollum’s Pull Up podcast this week and, according to SI.com, Lillard let fly:

“For him to say that’s a bad shot, that’s just kind of being a poor sport,” Lillard said on teammate C.J. McCollum’s podcast. “If anything, it was bad defense, because I had the ball in my hands with two seconds, and I wasn’t going to drive, so maybe he should’ve just bodied up.”

The Blazers will face either the Nuggets or Spurs in the Western Conference semifinals.
