No one could believe it.  Damian Lillard pulled up in front of Paul George with two seconds left, and let one fly from 37-feet away.  In a playoff game.  In a close-out game.  In a game that already saw him score 47 points.

Points 48, 49, and 50 rattled through the rim as the buzzer sounded, and Moda exploded.  Blazers 118, Thunder 115.  Portland wins the series.

Paul George was still looking for answers after the season-ending defeat, and said of Dame’s final shot, which happened right in front of him.

“That’s a bad shot, I don’t care what anybody says,” George said postgame.  “But hey, he made it.  That story won’t be told, that it was a bad shot.  You live with that.”

Dame apparently noticed.

Was it a bad shot?  Maybe for anyone else in the league not named Dame or Steph.  But for Logo Lillard, anything is in range.

The Blazers are moving on to Round Two and will face either the Denver Nuggets or San Antonio Spurs, where Denver has a 3-2 series lead.
