Unsurprisingly, the College Football Playoff Committee left the Top 7 intact from last week to this week. All seven teams won on Saturday, so any changes would have raised some eyebrows.

LSU kept the top spot, followed by Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia in the Top 4. Alabama checked in again at No. 5, while the Pac-12 stood pat at No. 6 and No. 7 with Oregon and Utah, respectively.

The first change was No. 8 and No. 9 where Penn State and Oklahoma leapt over Minnesota after the Golden Gophers lost to Iowa.

The USC Trojans also reappeared in the CFP Top 25, at No. 23, for the first time since the final rankings of 2017.
