Per reports, Blazers big man Zach Collins suffered a grade 2 ankle sprain and a torn ligament in his right ankle during a workout two weeks ago. Collins, who is expected to replace Al-Farouq Aminu as Portland’s starting power forward this season, did not require surgery on that ankle. He is expected to be ready for the opening of training camp in late September.

Collins averaged 6.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 17.6 minutes per game last season.
