The Blazers concluded preseason action in Denver Thursday night with a 110-104 loss to the Nuggets.  Portland finishes exhibition play 2-3 and open their highly-anticipated regular season on Wednesday., Oct. 23rd against the Nuggets at Moda Center.

Mario Hezonja led the Blazers with 18 points off the bench, including 3-for-4 from three-point range.  He was one of five Blazers to score double-figures, including starters Zach Collins (13), Kent Bazemore (13) and Anfernee Simons (11).

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum both rested, while Hasshan Whiteside (left ankle) and rookie Nassir Little (left ankle) also sat out.  The Blazers were on the second night of a preseason back-to-back after winning in Utah on Wednesday.

The Blazers shot 11-31 (35.5%) from three-point range, and 47.5% from the floor.  They had a lead at the end of the first quarter 32-28 but trailed 60-55 at halftime and 80-77 going into the fourth quarter.  Denver’s lead hovered around nine points in the final period on their way to victory.
