Oregon State junior Isaiah Hodgins was named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list on Thursday.

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced the first edition of the 2019 watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given annually to the nation’s top collegiate receiver (regardless of position) at the FBS level.

Hodgins is one of 50 players on the opening watch list, and one of five from the Pac-12. He is currently 26th for career receiving yards at Oregon State with 1,151 receiving yards.

Hodgins tallied four 100-plus yard receiving games a year ago, including 200 yards on 14 catches at Nevada. The 14 receptions are tied for the most in a single game by an Oregon State player while the 200 yards is ranked 10th.

The Oakley, Calif., native joins teammate Jermar Jefferson on a preseason watch list. Jefferson was selected to the Doak Walker Award list on Wednesday.

Hodgins was a 2018 All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection and a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention as a sophomore.

If Hodgins wins–which will be announced on Dec. 12–he would become the third Beaver to win the Biletnikoff Award. Oregon State is the only Pac-12 team with multiple winners, Mike Hass (2005) and Brandin Cooks (2013).

Oregon State’s season starts Aug. 30 at home against Oklahoma State.
