Oregon Ducks Big 10 Basketball Opponents Announced

By 750 THE GAME STAFF

The Oregon Ducks have announced their Big 10 opponents for next season’s basketball schedule.

The Ducks will be playing the other west coast teams (Washington, USC, UCLA) in both home and road games. The other teams in the Big 10 will only be played at home or on the road, so Oregon fans won’t be able to see every Big 10 team in Eugene.

The opponents coming to Matthew Knight Arena are Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, and Rutgers. Oregon will travel to Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin.

The highlights will be an exciting game in East Lansing, Michigan against Michigan State, and they play at Wisconsin which is always a tough place to play. The highlight home games at Matthew Knight Arena will be against Indiana and a matchup against national championship runner up Purdue.

It’s a new era for Oregon athletics in the Big 10. The Oregon football schedule has already been released. The full schedule for basketball team hasn’t been released yet, but we do know now who the Ducks will be playing in their conference games.
