New Positive COVID-19 Test Postpones St. Louis Cardinals Again

The St. Louis Cardinals haven’t played a game since July 29, and they’ll continue to sit on the bench. MLB released a statement on the postponement after reports from The Athletic’s Mark Saxon and ESPN’s Jesse Rogers surfaced.

The Cards previously reported 13 positive tests from their traveling party, including seven players.

Saxon also provided some more sobering news with the Cards due to all the game postponements.

St. Louis was scheduled to face the Chicago Cubs today, no decision has been made for Saturday’s game yet.
